Founder of the strategic consulting and equity firm GCG Partners and former CEO of Helene Curtis, Ron Gidwitz is recognized as one of the most influential business leaders in the city of Chicago. For nearly four decades, Gidwitz has put that influence and acumen to work as a national volunteer for Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA). He is currently National Chairman of the organization’s board of governors, as well as its longest-serving member.

The no. 1 youth-serving agency in the country, BGCA has long benefited from Gidwitz’s successful work garnering bi-partisan political support inside the Beltway and beyond. He is an impassioned advocate for the 4 million young people served by Boys & Girls Clubs. In addition to his personal generosity, Gidwitz has raised tremendous philanthropic support for BGCA. In 2006, the organization honored Gidwitz with the Herbert Hoover Humanitarian Award for his extraordinary service to BGCA and the nation’s youth.
