Jully Burau began her career with General Motors in 1975 as a General Motors Institute (now Kettering) co-op student with Buick Motor Division. Since that time, Jully has had a varied background within Engineering from developing GM’s first 1980’s airbag programs, to brake system development and interior engineering.

In 2001, Jully was promoted to her role as the Vehicle Chief Engineer for Full Size Trucks. For more than a decade, Jully has developed and launched product for eight truck model years. She also achieved high industry acknowledgment by winning the 2007 Motor Trend Truck of the Year. 

Jully is currently leading the launch team for the all new full-sized light duty and heavy duty pick-up trucks.
