Annette Parker is a System Director of Workforce Education for the Kentucky Community & Technical College System.  In this role she serves as the Executive Director for the Automotive Manufacturing Technical Education Collaborative (AMTEC), a National Science Foundation Advanced Automotive Manufacturing Center of Excellence that involves automotive manufacturers, related suppliers, and colleges in 12 states.  Annette job experience includes 5 years at the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, 17 years at Lansing Community College, and 11 years at General Motors.  Annette’s research is around key factors and stages of collaboration between industry and education.  Annette holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Western Kentucky University, a Master’s Degree in Occupational Education from Ferris State University,  a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Education from Ferris State University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Drafting from Lansing Community College.
