Melendy Lovett is President of Texas Instruments (TI) Education Technology and Senior Vice President of Texas Instruments, Incorporated. She leads TI’s math and science education technology products and services division, serving secondary schools and higher education worldwide. She is also a member of TI’s strategic leadership team reporting to the CEO.

Lovett has a long-standing personal commitment and passion for math and science education. She helped found and leads an initiative of TI women who are working to improve math and science education for girls in middle and high school (High Tech High Heels program). 

Lovett is a member of the Trinity Industries board of directors where she serves on the Audit and Human Resources committees; she also serves as vice chairman of the AVID Center’s board of directors where she heads the Finance committee and is a Governance Committee member.

Her awards include election into the Women of Technology International Hall of Fame (WITI), recognition by the University of Texas at Dallas as distinguished alumni, named one of Dallas-Fort Worth's "Top 25 Changemakers" by the Dallas Business Journal and one of the “100 Women Leaders in STEM’, a publication by STEMconnector.org

She is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s degree in Accounting from UTD and a Bachelor's degree in Management from Texas A&M.
